CFR 40, part 112 requires owners of fuel and chemical storage tanks to monitor those tanks for overfill protection if the storage capacity at the location exceeds 1320 gallons of product. This calculation includes all tanks on site, including totes and 55 gallon drums. If the site is unattended, the storage must be remotely monitored.
